South winds and NW swell favored some obscure breaks in North Kohala.

The surf was breaking really close to the rocks on the right - on the rocks, in fact.
It looks almost makeable with a high line. The post-wipeout scramble portion takes place in 3-6" of water with a 2 foot closeout (4' California ) bearing down. Both board and I escaped unscathed, but I did need to change my shorts. http://youtu.be/eZyGswyUpgI
