Wavejet bodyboard/paipo

Since the wavejet was first revealed I have followed its attempts at a bodyboard/paipo. There horrible sales pitch an lack of any real info when I have asked questions in emails has looked good.

Seems far to big a far to fat, I'm sure it has its uses. ;)

The fins appear to be towed out? :(

It's pretty expensive at $4400. You can buy the power unit and build your own board. The concept looks more tempting as I get older. But I would be a little embarassed riding one. This model is a little wide for my particular style of riding. I find that the toe in and cant of the fins is easier to turn than my board with little toe in or cant.

I found this new video they put out, does a horrible job of selling the thing as anything other than a kids plaything! :o

The pricing is horrendous, its just a battery and couple of impeller motors, and a charger, maybe that wireless controller is expensive tech :?

You can get a hell of a hightec electric mountain bike for less

As you said you could drop one in your one board, and use a blanking panel when you dont need it, pitty its 3 1/4" deep so your stuck with a 3 1/2" thick board and no concaves
