The Surfcraft Exhibit will be on display in Long Island. Organized by Richard Kenvin, a surfer, board shaper, writer, historian, and filmmaker, the show originated at the Mingei International Museum in San Diego, and takes as its starting point Kenvin’s recent book, "Surf Craft: Design and the Culture of Board Riding."

No idea how many boards from the Mingei Exhibit will be on display but it will no doubt be impressive.

From July 31 through October 10, at the LongHouse Reserve, 133 Hands Creek Road, East Hampton, New York

If a couple of others are up to the trek. I did see the original Surfcraft Exhibit at the Mingei International Museum in San Diego.
