Super Cool… “Ahi” board is made out of? Seen both hands gripping on the nose

thermoplastic. Very tough and light. Nose is pointed

I’m a kneeboarder but seem to be choosing the Ahi because it’s so fun to be in the pocket!

the ahi has down rails like a surfboard turns pretty effortlessly…couldn’t tell you about proper paipos….

Ahi is a hollow boat which is mass produced with fins apart of the mold. Great for people that are not skilled at surfing or older who still want to catch waves. I agree about those accustomed to a center fin knowing when to make rail turn. My new hybrid performance Prone board I have been riding for a few weeks and I have never been so thrilled to ride it. My unusual fin configuration for lack of a name will call it trimaran layout with center fin equal or in front of side fins. The center fin is at my belly button and adjustable. I can both pivot flat or crank on my soft fiberglass rails. I can drop into steep vertical wave and turn under the tube without even making a bottom turn. My favorite joy is carving inside the tube to slow down so I don't outrun the tube.
